How I Got Here
Several years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It was pretty severe for a while, but I fought it and soon was leading a pretty normal life in spite of chronic pain. Recently, I have had a relapse. I am not in a wheel-chair, which I was when I was diagnosed, but I am unable to work my former office job as a telecommunications project manager because my doctor declared that I cannot sit or stand for more than 20 - 30 minutes without taking a break. This makes the 8 - 10 hour a day desk job a bit difficult. After resigning from my position, I had too much time on my hands, so I started making memory wire necklaces just as a hobby. I have always had a creative streak. Soon friends and people who work with my husband were requesting necklaces after seeing my work. The next thing I knew, I was opening my own web store....so...here we are.
It's strange the way we end up finding our passions in life. This is the most fulfilling work I have ever done and I love creating! Many of the styles I offer are simple designs, but beautiful none-the-less. More intricate designs are in the works and more great one-of-a-kind pieces will show up weekly in my store, so visit often to get first dibs on the newest jewelry.
